Wesley muffled a groan against Spike's shoulder, mouthing at the skin there before scraping his teeth across it. "Very persuasive," he agreed.

"That's how I feel about you," Spike replied, his voice rough with emotion. He lifted his head and met Wesley's eyes, his heart in his throat. "You're all right? That was what you wanted?"

"I'm wonderful, and it was exactly what I wanted," Wesley said, certain that his eyes reflected the truth of his statement. He lifted a slightly-trembling hand and touched Spike's face. "What about you?"

Spike gave Wesley a shaky smile, heartened by the love and contentment in his expression. "I'm madly in love with you. Even more than I was before."

Wesley smiled back. "Well, I can't say that makes me unhappy." He couldn't stop running his hands over Spike's skin.

"I bloody well hope not," Spike said, still smiling. "That was one of the most mind-blowing experiences of my life, love. But I've got to move before I collapse on you." He reluctantly pulled away and lowered himself onto his side next to Wesley with a muted groan of relief at being able to relax. The bite mark on Wesley's throat was still slowly oozing blood, and he looked at it with a combination of wonder and sadness.

Shifting his weight and rolling toward Spike, Wesley settled himself into a more comfortable position, running his fingers lightly over Spike's chest. "Was it? Really?"

Spike wrapped his arm around Wesley's waist, wishing that he could pull him closer without hurting him. "Yeah, it was. You let me bite you. Let me take your blood, your life. Wanted me to. That's not a small thing, pet," he said. "And, god, it was good."

"It was incredible," Wesley said. He was still trembling slightly, actually. "I hope we'll do it again, at some point?"

"If you want to, we will," Spike said, looking deeply into Wesley's eyes and smoothing his hand in slow strokes over his back. "What was it like for you?"

"It was... it felt..." Wesley tried to think of a way to put it into words. "It was amazing," he said finally, although he'd already said that. "It was the most amazing thing I've ever felt. More than what I'd hoped for."
