Spike wrapped his arm around Wesley's waist, wishing that he could pull him closer without hurting him. "Yeah, it was. You let me bite you. Let me take your blood, your life. Wanted me to. That's not a small thing, pet," he said. "And, god, it was good."

"It was incredible," Wesley said. He was still trembling slightly, actually. "I hope we'll do it again, at some point?"

"If you want to, we will," Spike said, looking deeply into Wesley's eyes and smoothing his hand in slow strokes over his back. "What was it like for you?"

"It was... it felt..." Wesley tried to think of a way to put it into words. "It was amazing," he said finally, although he'd already said that. "It was the most amazing thing I've ever felt. More than what I'd hoped for."
