Wesley tried to suppress a shiver of distaste at the thought. "You could put one on me?" he suggested, as a substitute.

Spike took a moment to catch up with the conversation. "I already have," he said, tracing the tip of one finger over the mark he had left on Wesley's throat earlier in the day.

"Oh," Wesley said, bringing his hand up to his own throat where Spike was touching it. He pressed down hard on the spot and felt the faint ache of a bruise.

Smiling faintly as he pressed on the mark again, Wesley shook his head. "Of course not. I... I like it." That was a bit of an understatement.
