"I hope so." Wesley tightened his arms around Spike briefly, then stepped back a bit. "Could I interest you in dinner of some sort? If nothing in the house appeals, we could always go out."

"That you prefer that I not be skeletal from lack of nourishment?" Wesley suggested, his tone making it clear that he was joking.

"Right." Spike pulled back one of the chairs at the table and took a seat to keep out of Wesley's way. "I'll try to tone down my charm, then... at least until you've eaten."
