"I hope so." Wesley tightened his arms around Spike briefly, then stepped back a bit. "Could I interest you in dinner of some sort? If nothing in the house appeals, we could always go out."

Wesley went straight to the freezer and opened it, looking at the relatively instant meals he'd purchased. "We might find a place that suited you better. Something closer to a tunnel entrance, with fewer windows, for example."

Spike was speechless for a long moment. He wasn't used to anyone offering to adapt to his needs. "I don't expect you to change your life for me," he finally managed to say.

"It would be nice to have a fresh start," Wesley said, taking out a teriyaki chicken meal that looked good and closing the freezer. "A place that was both of ours, instead of just mine. Don't you think?"
