"No doilies?" Wesley asked, trying to sound upset. "And here I was thinking they'd look so nice with our decor."

"Is it?" Spike asked softly. Wesley had said it so easily, but perfection seemed to Spike like such a fragile and unobtainable state. He wanted so badly to live up to it.

"I have you, we're in our own flat... what more do I need?" Wesley said it lightly, but he was very serious.

"Could be quite a lot," Spike replied, stroking his hand down Wesley's back.

"I suppose it could," Wesley said. He pushed Spike over onto his back and leaned down over him, careful not to move his body too quickly. "But there's nothing else. We're going to be ridiculously happy together, you and I. Do you hear me?"
