"Right," Wesley breathed. He was caught in that last moment of awareness in which he knew he was going to be asleep any second, and it was a perfect moment to be caught in.

"Love you," Spike murmured, though he wasn't sure whether Wesley was awake enough to hear it. Though he was tired and relaxed, he still fought the increasingly insistent tug of sleep for a long while, just enjoying the feel of Wesley next to him and the sense of peace that he knew would be hard to find in the morning.
