"I think there are too many things I want," Wesley said, looking at Spike. "One of them might..." He hesitated, not wanting to say it, then he decided that he might as well say it and blame it on the drink. "One of them might be for tomorrow not to have to come."

Wesley ducked his head and kissed Spike's chest. "I'm the one who's lucky," he murmured.

"Why do I think we're not going to agree about this?" Spike said with a soft laugh.
