Continued from here.
Spike slid his hand up Wesley's back to pull him closer and ignored the protests of his aching head as the kiss became slightly more intense. He wasn't yet being driven by urgent demands of his body; instead he craved more reassurance that things for the moment were all right.

Date: 2004-04-21 12:54 pm (UTC)Fervently hoping that it wasn't Angel -- or Fred, or Gunn, or Lorne -- he went through the living room with Spike following him. He opened the door cautiously, revealing an overnight delivery courier, if the man's uniform had anything to say about it.
"Wesley Wind-ham Pryce?" the man read from the thin cardboard package he was holding.
Wesley sighed. "Yes."
The man continued to stand there.
"Yes," Wesley repeated. "Did you need me to sign something?"
"Oh! Yeah." The delivery man handed Wesley a clipboard and waited for him to sign on the appropriate line -- which of course Wesley had to find for himself. Once the clipboard was given back over to him, the man gave Wesley the cardboard envelope and left without another word.

Date: 2004-04-21 01:05 pm (UTC)Tearing the opening strip off, he reached inside and brought out two objects -- a piece of paper folded into thirds and a sealed envelope. He tucked both envelopes under his arm as he unfolded the paper and scanned it quickly.
Wesley looked up at Spike. "It's from Dawn," he said, taking out the smaller envelope and offering it to the vampire. "She wanted to know if I could give you this."
