Without pausing in what he was doing, Wesley reached down and found a fold of the blanket around their knees, pulling it up over the both of them. "I don't want you to be cold," he whispered in explanation, tracing the edge of Spike's ear with his tongue.

"No, neither do I." Spike pulled back from the kiss far enough that he could look into Wesley's eyes. "We won't stop, all right?" he said seriously.

Their noses were nearly touching. "All right," Wesley said, spellbound.

Spike wondered how he had ever thought he could keep from falling in love with Wesley. He was both thrilled and saddened by the realization that he was in way too deep to pull back, but there was no way he could have defended himself against such warmth, kindness, generosity, and passion. "Thank you," he said, brushing his thumb across Wesley's lower lip, "for being you." Then Spike leaned in and kissed him again.

Wesley clung to Spike a bit more than he might have liked to if thinking about it rationally, and returned the kiss with an anxious, eager sort of passion.

Happy to have his arms full of an enthusiastic Wesley, Spike slid his hand into Wesley's hair and kissed him deeply and deliberately, savoring the taste of his mouth and the feel of his lips and tongue. He could feel the tension in his body slowly slipping away, though the knot in his stomach was a reminder that he still had made no decision about what to do. At the moment, though, kissing Wesley was far more important.

It seemed to take so little to arouse him when Spike's mouth was the one pressed to his, when it was Spike's hands touching him. When the next kiss broke, Wesley said almost harshly, "Need you... so much. I don't want anyone to touch you like this but me." He ran his hands over Spike's body in illustration, needy and loving at the same time.

"I wouldn't want them to, love. Just you," Spike assured him, his heart leaping at hearing such a possessive statement and his skin tingling beneath Wesley's hands. He thought it best not to mention Angel's earlier touches. "And I don't want to think about anyone else touching you."

"You're mine," Wesley said, almost as if he hadn't heard or registered what Spike had said. He kissed Spike more fiercely, his tongue sweeping into Spike's mouth as if intent on removing any lingering trace of anyone else.
