"Neither do I," Wesley said, although he thought he might have a vague memory of it. He moved over closer to Spike, looking at the options. "I like the red. But don't wear anything you hate. You wouldn't, would you?"

Wesley nearly choked on his toast, but he managed to swallow and shake his head. "No," he said after a moment. "This spell won't require anywhere near as much power as that one did."

"Good," Spike said, relaxing. Between not wanting Wesley to be hurt and the temptation of the blood, he wasn't sure he could go through that again, especially not if he knew it was coming. "So you think you'll be able to do the spell tonight?"

"Yes, I think so," Wesley said, around another mouthful of toast. He hadn't realized how hungry he was until he started eating.
