"Wouldn't ask for more," Wesley observed. "That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to give it to you. Like hours in bed every day, for example, until you're well-rested and happy." He continued to run his fingers through Spike's hair.

"I know you will," Wesley said. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the feel of Spike's body pressed against his own. "We both will."

"It's hard to believe you being so drunk and miserable you came onto me turned out so well for both of us," Spike said, trailing his fingers slowly down Wesley's side to feel each individual rib.

Wesley couldn't help but flush a bit at the memory, even as he smiled at his own discomfort. "I wasn't so drunk and miserable that I couldn't see how wonderful you are," he said.

Spike chuckled softly. "I don't think that's what you saw, but I didn't mind a bit. We both needed the comfort."

Shrugging gently out from underneath Spike, Wesley slid down on the bed until they were face to face, looking at each other. "I did see it," he said seriously. "I might not have been able to put it into words, but I saw. I saw you."
