"No, that's fair," Wesley said, sorry that it was true. "I'm as responsible for what happened -- then -- as Angel is. But if that's the case, I should have been given the opportunity to participate in the decision, shouldn't I."
Angel looked at him uncertainly. "I don't know what you want me to say. That I made a mistake? No, because I don't think I did. I'm sorry you see it that way though, and I'm still willing to do whatever it takes to make it up to you."
"You can't," Wesley said. "No more than I can make it up to you having taken him the way I did. It's in the past. It's done."
