"Oh, good," Lorne said, pushing back his chair and dropping his napkin onto the table. "We'll meet you back there, then."
"Yeah," Angel said. "We can do it in my office. Um... unless you don't want to."
Fred shrugs. "It's okay with me."
Wesley continued to sit there as the others got up and said their goodbyes. They were obviously eager to get away from the source of the unpleasantness as quickly as possible. Wesley waited until they'd left the room before he lifted his bottle of beer and took a long swig from it. "Want some?" he asked Spike, offering him the bottle.
Before Spike could reply, the waitress reappeared in the doorway. "Is everything okay?" she asked.
"Fine," Angel said, pushing his own chair back but not getting up. "Something just came up is all. Can I get the bill?"
"Of course." She disappeared again.
