"So, not to put a damper on the celebration, but I kind of got the impression that this was about something more than Spike's lack of ghostliness," Gunn said, leaning back in his chair. He looked so relaxed, so comfortable in his own skin, that Wesley couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt at having to spoil the illusion for him.
"Yes, it is," Wesley said. He glanced at Angel.
"Well, yeah," Angel said. "Fred's right -- we should do this more often." He was wearing a smile that looked almost genuine, and it struck Wesley that he'd been seeing that smile for months and that it had been fake the entire time.
"We should," Fred said. "I mean, how often do we get a chance to actually talk?"
"Not enough," Lorne chimed in. "We're all so busy with work -- and wow, can I just say I never imagined I'd be saying something like that? -- that we don't make space in our schedules for downtime."
