Wesley still thought Spike was wrong about Angel, but perhaps this wasn't the best time to get into it. Perhaps there wasn't a good time to get into it. Which was going to continue to make things awkward between them.

"I can understand you not wanting to think about it," he said placatingly, at the same time aware that it was likely his tone would just exacerbate Spike's obvious irritation. "I'll take care of it."
